This page explains how the iOS app "FlowFrame" (Japanese name: ぬるぬる動画さん; the "App") handles your information.
Frame interpolation (conversion) runs entirely on your iPhone. The videos you choose and the videos the App produces are never uploaded to the developer's servers or to any third party. The App does not require an account and works offline.
The App asks for access to your photo library so you can choose a video to convert, and for permission to add the converted video to your library when you tap "Save". The App does not read, scan, or transmit other photos or videos, and it never modifies your original video. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
You may also choose a video through the Files app; in that case, the App reads only the file you selected.
During conversion, the App writes temporary files to its own private storage on your device and deletes them when you leave the result screen or discard the result.
To improve the App, we may collect anonymous usage events using PostHog, an analytics tool — for example, that a conversion was started or completed, the output settings chosen (fps, slow-motion factor, resolution), the length and frame rate of the source video as numbers, error codes, and whether the PRO screen was viewed or a purchase was made. We never collect the videos themselves, thumbnails, file names, your name, contacts, or any other personally identifying information. Events are associated with a random identifier that is not linked to your identity, and are not used for advertising or tracking across apps.
PRO is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Purchase status is managed through RevenueCat (a purchase-management service) using an anonymous identifier so that PRO can be restored on your other devices. The developer never receives your credit card details.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except for the service providers named above (Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog) to the extent necessary to provide the App, and where required by law.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on the store page.
